Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

And the suspense is over.  I finished the next book I was reading, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.  A lot of the kids at the middle school (and some of my adult friends) really enjoyed it.  I put "read the first Harry Potter book" on my list of 101 things to do in 1001 days (more on that in another post).

The book was cute.  Good descriptions of the wizard world.  Lots of imaginative settings.  A good twist or two at the end of the book.  All in all I'm glad I read it.  I haven't decided if I'll continue to read the rest of the series.  I guess I'll have to see how the rest of my summer reading goes.
