1. How close to your childhood dreams is your life now?
I am not sure...I don't really know what my childhood dreams were.  Well, except to become a famous singer and, well, I don't exactly think I'll get "discovered" in small town Wyoming.

2. What is one must have item for the summer?
The item I always need is sunglasses.  The item I am going to try to keep wearing ALL YEAR ROUND...sunscreen.

3. Do you have your kids stay up on school stuff during summer vacation? (Or, if you don't have kiddos, did your parents make you keep up on school stuff during summer?)
I don't think my parents made me stay "up" on school stuff in the summer (right Mom & Dad?).  I enjoy reading, obviously, so I read during the summer.  I also went to summer events that were educational (like summer school that was optional and had a theme and was fun).  I also did a DNA/Microbiology summer thing when I was in middle school.  It was over at the high school and we ended by watching Jurassic Park.  Too cool!

4. Do you can or freeze fresh produce?
I have made pickles with Karen once...but nothing since then.  I really should, but I guess that would mean I have to grow something successfully first!

5. Do you get ready for the day first thing in the morning?
During the "school year", yes.  This summer....no.  I'm lazy.
