Today has been a tough day. We have decided that the pup is not happy in our home and have decided that her foster (who loves her very much) should adopt her. The foster was more than willing to take in the pup and we said our "see you in a while"s today. It's sad, but she's much happier and in the end, that's what we want for her.
The rescue is bringing a new corgi in (6 y.o. female stray) and we are going to meet her this weekend. Hopefully things will work out, but again, we want the best for all three of us.
This decision has been a major bummer. I'm trying to think about the good things. The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL today. Sunny, light breeze (and not Wyoming light...REAL light) and in the 70s. The sun is still shining right now and there is not one rain cloud in the sky. I think that Spring is finally, finally, finally here!
