Dear Daylight Saving Time,
I want you to know that you are not my friend. I hate it that now it is pitch black when I wake up. I also hate how the sun shines so late that it takes a long time to get sleepy.
I do enjoy having late afternoon sunshine. However, couldn't we have just taken our schedules from the natural rhythms of sunshine and daylight? Why do we have to change our clocks and lose our hour of sleep?
I know that in a week or two I will be thankful for you joining us now, but that day is not today. It is probably not tomorrow. Your sunshine and warm weather better be worth this sleepy feeling!
