I finished the second book in the Virals series. Seizure, by Kathy Reichs and her son Brendan Reichs, catches up with the Virals pack after the end of the previous book.The gang is faced with a dilemma - their pack is in danger of being spread across the country! The research facility that their parents work for is going to be closed because of budget cuts, etc. Do Tory and her friends give up? No! They begin to search for a source of funding so that they can save their parents' jobs, their home and their pack!
As the kids are learning more about their new powers from their mutated genes, they go on a treasure hunt! There were pirates in Charleston in colonial times. Tori learns about the pirate Anne Bonny and her hidden treasure. Tori and her friends go on a hunt for the treasure.
Things are not easy for the group though. They are stalked by three - THREE - different people with different motives for wanting the treasure. But these enemies do not know Tori, Ben, Hi and Shedon's secret - they have special powers that will help save the day...or get them caught.
Seizure was a great book. I am excited for the next one in the series - Code - but I have to get through some other books first.
