During the last couple of weeks I have spent my reading time re-reading Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, by Gregory Maguire. I have read this book countless times now, but I love it. We are going to see the play in a couple of weeks, so I wanted to start the series again.
I noticed on this reading many of the themes of wickedness and the roles that society have placed upon us. How we are seen shapes our personalities, our actions and our lives. I appreciate this novel/story/play on every read.
